Program Summary

The courses at our center provide joy and satisfaction to people of all ages, and we offer different programs to uniquely serve both children and adults. At Greene Music, we are proud to include the Yamaha Music Education System in our course offerings. This system was developed by musicians, psychologists, and educators and is the result of 40 years of development. More than four million children and adults worldwide have graduated from Yamaha courses. Yamaha's college-trained musicians and educators must pass demanding tests and rigorous training before they become certified Yamaha music educators.

Special Needs Children (Adaptive Piano Lessons)

Many individuals with special needs show interest in learning to play a musical instrument, but need creative, multi-sensory modes of instruction to experience joy and success with their music. In adaptive instrument instruction, the teacher uses techniques to meet the special instructional needs of the student and thus facilitate and maximize the student's mastery of his or her instrument.

Rate: $35 for 30-minute individual sessions
